Two new shower blocks have been added to Shere and Peaslake dormitories. These new facilities provide bag storage, drying rooms and, of course, showers and toilets.

Four new computer resource boxes are now available to borrow during your visit. They include a laptop, digital camera, data logger and a digital microscope.

Every classroom in the centre now has its own built-in projector and sound system. This can be used for studying the pond life or just watching a film.

Internet access is now available around the whole site including the staff room. Use it to investigate your wildlife sightings or even email pictures back to school.

To try and make our ecological footprint a little smaller we are now offering groups a chance to monitor and reduce the amount of energy they use during their visit. We have even added a compost area for all of your used tea bags!
