General Information

The centre operates a comprehensive safety policy. All adventure activities are led by our qualified instructors and conducted with safety being paramount. Each activity available at the centre has its own guidance notes, available for visiting leaders to read prior to their visit and the centre risk assessments for all activities and areas of the site.

• Guidance Notes for all activities - designed to be read prior to your visit. These documents will explain to all visiting leaders what is involved in each activity, any safety points you should be aware of and what clothing is needed. They will help you prepare the students for an enjoyable session.
• Risk Assessments for Locations and Activities - Every centre activity and location has its potential risks. We have looked at each of these risks and taken every possible action to reduce them. Some schools require teachers to present risk assessments for activities, they are here for you to use.
• Resources ( worksheets and leaders answers) - Many of our activities have worksheets to go with them, for example maps or questions. This section has all the student worksheets as well as answers for leaders.
